Position Summary
This position will manage the day-to-day operations of the FTMBA/ MSBA Career Management Center ( CMC). Reports to the Director of FTMBA/ MSBA Career Management Center (50%) and to FTMBA/ MSBA Associate Director of Corporate Relations (50%). This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the internal functions of the Career Management Center while also engaging with external stakeholders to foster relationships and support career development initiatives.

Duties/Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support for day-to-day operations of FTMBA/MSBA CMC, including but not limited to:

  • Reviewing and tracking a high volume of student expenses and reimbursement documents, managing all communications and paperwork in processing of student travel reimbursements.
  • Work closely with Terry's Business Office to provide proper supporting documentation to move financial transactions through the College financial system.
  • Market job opportunities and program-sponsored events to students in the FTMBA/MSBA program - including calendar invitations that market events to maximize student participation tracking student responses and attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and faculty across campus to reserve space for events and meetings, request and route vendor contracts.
  • Monitor office supplies and order materials as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities
Manage, execute, evaluate, and improve complex logistics of CMC-sponsored events; schedule venues or campus resources:

  • Arrange catering, handle invoicing and payment processing, manage logistics of student transportation, technology platforms for virtual events, and other inter-University resources.
  • Serve as primary point person for Terry Business Office Communicate with Business Learning Community management team by submitting work orders for upgrades, maintenance, and repairs as needed.

Support the Corporate Relations, FTMBA/MSBA Career Management Center including but not limited to:

  • Plan, manage, execute and improve recruiting operations to maximize student employment and strength and number of relationships.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective and partner employers to cultivate relationships and facilitate recruiting activities.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, reserving, and calendaring of resources including classrooms, interview suites, conference rooms, team rooms, and other campus resources.
  • Set up and manage student and employer accounts and track recruiting activities.
  • Administer employer interview and recruiting event schedules including information sessions, coffee chats, Friday Features, and company visits.

Manage and execute reception and high-touch customer service for the Full-Time MBA and Master of Science in Business Analytics ( FTMBA/ MSBA) Career Management Center serving students, recruiters, alumni, and faculty & staff representatives from academic departments across campus. Manage departmental phone and email account, complete requests or escalate issues to appropriate personnel. Communicate with the building services group for any office-related needs.

  • Recruit, hire, train and establish work schedules.
