SUMMARY OF POSITION: Account processor provides assistance to both new and existing clients, nurture strong, collaborative relationships between the producer, clients, carriers, and teammates. Duties include reviewing insurance applications to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance policy changes, changing policy records to conform to insured party's specifications, compiling data on lapsed insurance policies to determine automatic reinstatement according to company policies, canceling insurance policies as requested by agents, and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone. Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings).
- Meet all the client's financial needs, both business and personal, and refers clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Banking, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate.
- Assist Account Managers and Insurance Advisors to sell and service property & casualty accounts.
- Modify, update, and process existing policies with AMS360.
- Calculate premiums, refunds, commissions, and adjustments, using insurance carrier standards.
- Examine documents for completeness, accuracy, or conformance to carrier standards.
- Document all material conversations with clients and carriers regarding exposures and coverages.
- Maintain client information portal. Responsible for the data integrity of Vertafore AMS360.
- Work with team leaders and peers to identify areas of improvement to develop and implement best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information related to clients, customers, employees and carriers.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by management team.
- Promotes industry knowledge by attending industry events and participating in continuing education and other learning opportunities.
- Present a professional image/representation of MLB with accurate, credible, and professionally presented information.

DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Possesses State of Tennessee Property and Casualty license and has a minimum of ten years experience in the field.
- Certificate Program, Associates, or Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Preferably possesses at least one professional designation (such as CIC, CPCU, ARM, AU, or CISR).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Exceptional technical skill and three to four years related work experience in the area of data management.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to anticipate data needs and summarize and communicate complex data is essential.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to work with public and staff . Possess a supportive and responsive manner with associates and clients.
- Customer-centric, professional approach in working with a variety of people.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently with little supervision.
- Aptitude for learning concepts and transferring that knowledge through the education of peers.
- Discipline with regard to following procedures and maintaining confidentiality
