Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer specializing in datacenter AC power applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and experience in datacenter power systems, demonstrating the ability to provide hands-on support and solutions to our customers. This role involves fieldwork, requiring travel to various customer sites to ensure optimal performance and reliability of AC power systems within datacenters. Key Responsibilities * Technical Support: Provide technical assistance in design of AC power systems in datacenters in support of our sales teams * Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and customer needs, providing recommendations for new product features and improvements. * Project Management: Participate in multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions. * Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback and insights from the field, contributing to the continuous improvement of AC power products. * Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for customers and internal stakeholders. * Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical inquiries. Qualifications * Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in connector sales, preferably within datacenter environments. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in AC power equipment, including UPS systems, generators, and switchgear. * Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, both domestically and internationally. For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000- $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
