Overview

The Operations Center Chief is responsible for managing operations center personnel, coordinating with military and government counterparts related to contractor security guard activities, coordinating threat intelligence, and conducting mission planning with Intelligence, Operations, and Force Protection personnel. Also responsible for ensuring that the Operations Center, as an organization, fulfills its duties as required.

Responsibilities

  1. The Operations Center Chief is required to pass an annual Physical Ability Test per AR 190-56.
  2. The Operations Center Chief coordinates guard operations on a daily basis at assigned site in conjunction with Guard Site Manager and Government personnel.
  3. The Operations Center Chief shall assist in the coordination and supervision of all protective operations.
  4. The Operations Center Chief will assist Government personnel in the operations center.


Qualifications

  1. U.S. Citizen - must have and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance.
  2. Must possess experience of not less than ten (10) years experience with at least 7 years of Military background and the remaining can be either military, police, and/or PSC. Must have received an honorable discharge or release from active duty with honorable character of service.
  3. Prior experience as officer, warrant officer or senior non-commissioned officer (E-7 or higher) or team leader in armed forces, police, or private security company in a contingency area.
  4. Must have demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite software to include Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer
  5. Shall demonstrate a fluency in English equivalency of a level 2+ based on the Interagency Language Roundtable
