How will you make history here...

The Senior Design Project Manager plays a critical role in driving and coordinating design projects within Distinctive Brands portfolio (Rao's, Michael Angelo's, Pacific Foods) ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage cross-functional collaboration, oversee project timelines, and deliver outstanding design solutions that align with business objectives. The Senior Design Project Manager will be the key liaison between design, marketing, commercialization, and external partners, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is based in our HQ Office in Camden, NJ 3 days a week (hybrid).

What you will do...

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead and coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and external partners to ensure flawless project execution.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, engaging key stakeholders to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to effectively track progress.

  • Manage changes to project scope and schedules using appropriate verification and approval techniques.

Commercialization Process & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Have a strong understanding of the commercialization process, ensuring that packaging and design projects align with key milestones and operational requirements.

  • Actively participate in commercialization meetings, representing the design team and ensuring seamless integration of design deliverables into the broader commercialization process.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure all design projects meet production, regulatory, and retail requirements.

Risk Management & Problem-Solving

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.

  • Proactively address project roadblocks and troubleshoot issues to maintain progress and efficiency.

Stakeholder & Meeting Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to align expectations and deliver successful project outcomes.

  • Conduct regular status meetings with leadership, providing updates on project performance, milestones, and challenges.

  • Gather and clarify project requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with creative and strategic goals.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

* Monitor project performance against objectives, tracking key metrics and milestones.

* Provide reports and recommendations for process improvements and future efficiencies.

Who will you work with...

Brand, Marketing, Commercialization Teams.

Cross-Functional Teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, etc.).

What You Will Bring to the Table (Must-Have):

* Bachelor's degree in project management, Design, or a related field

* 6+ years of proven experience in project management within design, branding, or

consumer goods industries.

* PMP certification preferred.

* Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects

in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* High attention to detail with strong time management abilities.

* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello).

* Commercialization and design process experience required with strong CPG packaging design experience showcased in your portfolio.

It Would Be Great If You Have (Nice-to-Have):

* Experience in CPG brand design project management

* Knowledge of commercialization processes and design development processes

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$80,300-$115,500

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
