New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is actively seeking an Electrician for a 3-month Contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. Compensation: $22.00 per hour The role of the Electrician is to provide the necessary skill sets required to perform the maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the Building, Systems, and Equipment under the direction of the Facility and Operations Managers. Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for focusing on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all systems. Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safe workplace. The position may be called upon to perform other general maintenance and support duties on an as-needed basis. Serves as a subject matter expert on all electrical, life safety, and fire alarm systems. Assists other departments in the maintenance and repair of heating and cooling valves, water cooling equipment; boilers, heating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters. Required Qualifications: State of Michigan Journeyman Card Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports. Familiar with BMS and CMMS systems Minimum of a high school diploma Must be proficient in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, Work Order System, etc. Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
