Description
Mazak Corporation is looking for an Electrical Engineer II to join the Sales Engineering team out our National Technology Center located in Florence, KY. As an Electrical engineer, you will be working with Sales, Engineers and Managers from other departments to complete job orders and convey information to Management and Sales when required. You are required to complete job orders in a timely manner and give support to field service engineers as needed.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: * Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. * Candidates should possess working knowledge of the machining CNC industry. * Ability to read and design a wide variety of electrically related schematics such as industrial solenoids, switches, relays and motor controls. * Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics a plus. * Ability to program Mitsubishi PLC logic with little guidance. * Ability to use Microsoft products. * Ability to use AutoCAD. * Technical ability to assemble options as needed for development, customer visit, etc. * Ability to work with vendors and contractors to gather information. * Provide documentation and support for post design work. * Ensure projects are completed on time and according to schedule. * Work proactively to promote teamwork. * Additional tasks and special projects as assigned. * Willingness to travel when necessary. * Ability to accomplish job tasks with the minimal guidance. Education/Certification:
* Associate degree required, BSEE in Electrical Engineering preferred. Experience: * 2 to 5 years experience working with PLC logic and creating electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Skills:
