Position Summary

Senior Finance Manager, Grover Gaming:

We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Finance Manager to lead strategic financial planning and help build scalable processes from the ground-up. This high-impact role will report directly to the CFO of Grover Gaming and requires a strong mix of analytical expertise, business acumen, and operational savvy. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to drive key financial decisions, implement efficient financial systems, controls, and processes, and lay the foundation for sustainable growth. Ideal candidates are proactive, technically sound, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while delivering clear, data-backed insights that support the broader long-term strategy.

This role will be based in Raleigh, NC.

Essential Job Functions:

Financial Planning & Strategy

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning aligned with organizational goals.

  • Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making with financial insights and scenario modeling.

  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models, reporting, and ad-hoc scenario modeling.

Data & Financial Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and tools to track key financial and gaming performance metrics.

  • Build and manage scalable reporting processes (P&L, cash flow, cost management, capital expenditure, churn analysis, and operational KPIs).

  • Present financial results and variance analysis to executive leadership and other internal stakeholders.

Process Development & Operational Support

  • Help design and implement core financial processes.

  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and other internal customers to ensure financial processes align with business objectives.

  • Support ongoing integration of financial systems and processes, leveraging best practices across the Light and Wonder universe.

Qualifications
  • Requires an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years finance/accounting experience, with 2 or more years in a supervisory role.

  • Must possess a strong ability to synthesize complex or diverse sets of information into actional insights.

  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and scale with change.

  • Effective communication and business partnering; ability to articulate financial results into meaningful insights for internal stakeholders.

  • Requires advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience building robust financial models and processes from scratch.

  • Ideal candidate will have experience with Tableau or other BI tools.

  • Knowledge of GAAP/SOX requirements to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory guidelines specific to the gaming industry.
