Summary
This position is responsible for managing and providing comprehensive planning, forecasting, and financial analysis and support to various business functions and Executive Management, which is consistent with the overall strategic growth of the company and aligned with creating value for shareholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Lead, coordinate and manage operational and functional planning, budgeting and forecasting to facilitate effective annual budget development, interim and long-term strategic forecasts
- Lead overall Company Capital Stress Testing initiative, including the production of PPNR forecasts, loss projections, and aggregation with the ALM model to produce an overall Capital Stress Test and resulting executive and board reporting
- Lead, coordinate and manage the financial analysis processes for the annual capital expenditure (Capex) budget, asset optimization and other major capital decisions of the company in a manner consistent with the Company's policies and procedures
- Serve as a key strategic resource to the Executive Team and business unit leaders on a full range of corporate finance activities, including financial analysis, business analysis and strategy analysis in a manner consistent with the Company's policies and procedures
- Provide financial support and oversight to short and long range financial planning, quarterly forecast cycles and sensitivity analyses that assess the viability of existing operations with consideration for the impact to annual financial forecast, bank covenant compliance and operational metrics
- Manage the preparation of the Board of Directors financial reporting to provide relevant and timely information in support of the executive management relevant and timely information in support of the executive management
- Maintain a communications strategy to inform Executive Level Management on actual financial results, including milestone progress and adherence to approved budgets, as well as overall Key Performance Indicators
- Collaborate with Executive and Senior management to ensure consistent, balanced, data-driven business & financial plans which accurately inform Executive Management's decisions on resource allocation and performance management
- Member of ALCO Committee
- Manage the overall corporate FP&A department functions and staff, including but not limited to, budgets, forecasts, staffing, compensation and performance management to ensure company initiatives are met
- Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.

Education and/or Experience
- Finance or Accounting Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university. MBA, CFA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A; includes a minimum of 2+ years related experience in Banking/Financial Institution.
Other Qualifications/Skills
- Extensive knowledge of forecasting and budgeting planning cycles.
- Strong knowledge of Bank balance sheet and P&L structures.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP.
- Strong skills in building informative reports, including usable templates for business units.
- This position requires strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects with competing demands and timelines.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues.
Language Skills
This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, project plans and procedure manuals, as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions effectively. Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical literature, and government regulations.
Mathematical Skills
Requires strong analytical skills with the ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, as well as the ability to apply these concepts to provide practical solutions.
Reasoning Ability
Requires strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and profitability models; SQL, Repot Writing tools (Crystal), advanced modeling skills using Microsoft Excel and Access, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.

Salary Range:$154,579.00 To $228,004.00 Annually
