Landscape Architect Project Manager - Little Rock, AR

Halff is has an immediate need for a Landscape Architect/Project Manager for our growing Little Rock, AR office. The successful incumbent will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary and supportive team of landscape architects, planners and others, to provide management and oversee a broad range of public and private landscape architectural projects. An ideal candidate will bring targeted, relevant project experience to include Park, Recreation and Trail Planning and Design; Urban Park, Plaza, Streetscape and Transportation enhancements; Land Development; and support large-scale planning projects.

Required competencies:


  • Outstanding ability to collaborate with design teams and consultants through every design phase from initial conception through construction.
  • Proactively facilitates open communication, establishes and nurtures relationships, and works collaboratively to attain project goals.
  • Excellent approach to lead teams, complete projects within appropriate timelines, emphasizing quality and remaining within allocated budget guidelines.
  • Vastly knowledgeable in the production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details and preparation of specifications and bidding packages.
  • Strong familiarity with various construction methodologies and implementation and the practical steps involved in executing a project.
  • Proactively anticipates expanding clients' needs and projects demands.
  • Effective communication skills to clearly and concisely convey pertinent information through verbal and/or, writing in a thorough manner.



Required skills:


  • Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in a variety of design related abilities to include creativity, technical aptitude, communication and exceptional problem-solving capabilities.



Educational Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university.
  • Registration as a Professional Landscape Architect.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience.
  • Willingness to travel periodically primarily in state to support project needs.
