As part of the Compensation function, the Equity Compensation team's primary responsibility is supporting the firm's global equity plan design and ongoing administration. The team is routinely tasked with leading initiatives to solve the operational aspects of the firm's intricate equity compensation processes including related regulatory and service delivery challenges. This function requires liaising with other departments such as Controllers, Private Wealth Management, Legal, and Tax and will also involve providing support to other HCM functions, including Firmwide Compensation, Executive Compensation, Employee Relations, and HCM Business Partners.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL



  • Manage certain stages of the global equity plan lifecycle, including leading the distribution of year-end and off-cycle awards
  • Perform monthly/annual analysis and reporting, including data reconciliation, ad-hoc data requests, and generating reports for cross-functional partners
  • Analyze and review data to prepare compensation disclosures for regulatory filings and shareholder communications
  • Manage audit requests, encompassing SOX internal controls documentation, external auditor collaboration, and equity reporting for financial and regulatory compliance
  • Partner with stakeholders, including Engineering, to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, minimize risk and streamline processes
  • Assist in the planning and analysis related to Goldman Sachs acquisitions and the impact on Equity Compensation
  • Work closely with team members and stakeholders to foster professional growth and career development


QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR



  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field in HR
  • Approximately 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of equity compensation
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification preferred
  • Experience with equity administration platforms (e.g., Fidelity)
  • Data analytics mindset with the ability to work with Excel on a day-to-day basis; comfortable using vlookups, pivot tables, and other analytical tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to succinctly summarize issues and assess impact
  • Commitment to excellence with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
  • Demonstrated client service focus and a strong sense of urgency
  • Thinks multiple steps ahead; prepares for potential problems and escalates issues when appropriate
  • Demonstrate knowledge of using PowerPoint to design management-level presentations, presenting results that tell a clear and compelling financial story
