Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Functional Analyst to evaluate, document, and improve business processes with the goal of increasing efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to understand their requirements, map out current workflows, and propose enhancements leveraging best practices and appropriate technology solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
* Evaluate current business processes to uncover inefficiencies and recommend data-informed enhancements.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and design comprehensive workflow maps.
* Create and update detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and process diagrams.
* Identify opportunities for automation and support the deployment of process optimization tools.
* Perform gap analyses to benchmark current practices against industry standards and best practices.
* Collaborate with IT to convert business needs into functional system requirements.
* Assist in the rollout of new processes and track their performance post-implementation.
* Define and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness and impact of process improvements.
* Lead training sessions and change management initiatives to promote successful process adoption.
* Ensure that all process designs and implementations align with relevant regulatory and industry standards.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or commensurate work experience.
* 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, process improvement, or a related role.
* Experience with ERP, CRM, or workflow automation tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Power Automate).
* Certification in Business Process Management (CBPA), Six Sigma, or Agile is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in Information Technology in the distribution, supply chain, finance, or manufacturing industries.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (I.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
* Must be able to work hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, remote on Monday and Friday.
* Strong understanding of business process modeling techniques.
* Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS.
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
* Ability to work in a global environment with cross-functional teams.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
