Description: What you'll be doing

Another Source's client, Pomona College, is recruiting a Director, Campus Events, to join their growing team in Claremont, California. You will work a hybrid schedule of three days on site and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and unify a high-performing events team (4 Associate Directors, 3 Coordinators) across Advancement and Conference Services to deliver cohesive, mission-aligned events.
  • Strategically plan and execute Pomona's most visible events-including Commencement, Alumni Weekend, and donor gatherings-enhancing the College's reputation and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and campus stakeholders to ensure events reflect institutional goals and foster meaningful relationships with students, alumni, families, and donors.
  • Oversee event operations, including budgeting, contract negotiation, vendor management, and compliance with safety and College policies.
  • Elevate the guest experience and innovate event strategy through a commitment to hospitality, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Experience You'll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant educational experience.
  • Licenses/Certificates: A valid driver's license or equivalent means of reliable transportation to off-site meetings and events is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of events management experience and demonstrated team management skills.

Salary: $116,000 - $130,000 annually
