Job Summary
This role is responsible for assisting in the processing of payroll, administering employee benefits programs, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of payroll data by verifying employee time records, calculating hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Maintain employee payroll and benefits records, updating information as necessary.
• Assist employees with payroll or benefits inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate onboarding of new hires into payroll and benefits systems.
• Review and distribute payroll reports, tax filings, and other related documentation.
• Reconcile and pay invoices for benefits plans.
• Stay up to date with local, state, and federal payroll and benefits regulations.
• Assist with audits and compliance reviews related to payroll and benefits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in payroll and/or benefits administration.
• Proficiency in payroll software (ADP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, benefits compliance, and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, especially during payroll cycles.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
