Position Summary:

Responsible for managing a 24/7 always on multi-location enterprise network environment; designing and implementing logical network infrastructure including LAN, WLAN, WAN, Internet, firewall policies, routing protocols, MPLS, VPN, QOS, etc.; providing architecture, engineering and operational support for all devices throughout the infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless devices; proactively monitoring of Benco's enterprise network. (Home office; CP showrooms; DC's); creating network documentation that includes physical and logical designs, version management, IP schemas, and firewall rule sets; troubleshooting and diagnosing advanced network issues including configuration, routing issues, spanning tree, performance, software bugs, hardware failures, etc. and provide detailed root cause analysis; coordinating with third party companies to configure secure inter site network connectivity over technologies such as VPN, T1/DS3, and MPLS networks; managing and testing disaster Recovery management and testing; participating in the development of policies and procedures supporting the IT Infrastructure.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

• Ensures maximum uptime for home office, distribution centers, CenterPoint showrooms, and Makati/Colombia offices
• Documents changes to network devices keeping all drawings current
• Responds to troubleshooting issues in a timely manner, including off-hours response

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

• Live within 1 hour of Pittston, PA for onsite work
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Cisco & SANS training
• 4-6 years experience supporting an infrastructure network
• Ability to work occasional off-hours for emergency response
• Consistently and effectively updates work tracking tool (Jira) with appropriate comments to track progress of work
• Breaks down work into estimable pieces and delivers accurate and consistent difficulty estimates
• Shares knowledge with other TIS team members
• Understands and applies abstract concepts, recognizes subtle interrelations, handles complexity, and is able to respond to questions quickly
• Sets challenging, but attainable goals, and consistently attains those goals
• Works as an effective team member and works to improve team morale
• Listens to and understands client needs; recommends solutions and develops plans (problem analysis)
• Understands TIS' role in helping Benco realize its mission
• Speaks IPv4 as a 'second language'
• Thoroughly tests theories and significant changes in a lab environment
