Program Manager

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager in Arlington, VA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Ten (10) years of technical experience is required. *Additional experience may be substituted for education.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Project management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop test cost estimates, customer agreements, test directives, and other essential project documentation.
• Lead the initiation, requirement development, and supervision of complex test projects, such as mission planning systems, flight tests, weapons testing, electronic warfare, software evaluations, or cybersecurity assessments.
• Train and mentor on test processes, project management methodologies, performance measurement, cost control, and budgeting.
• Oversee project finances by collaborating with financial managers, tracking funding documents, verifying expenditures, and ensuring compliance with DoD financial and contractual guidelines.
• Coordinate test resource needs with customers, leadership, and test engineering teams.
• Facilitate approvals and logistics for test projects, including safety, technical support, range management, facilities, security, frequency management, and reporting.
• Manage project data using government test management systems for documentation workflows, financial tracking, and project oversight.
• Travel occasionally to support project planning, execution, or reporting efforts.
