Who We Are ...

SourceAmerica is searching for a Program Analyst to join its team. This role supports the effective execution of IT initiatives by assisting in the analysis, tracking, and reporting of programs within the IT PMO. This role works closely with the Director of IT PMO, Program Managers, and Agile teams to ensure transparency, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. The Program Analyst contributes to portfolio governance, financial tracking, risk assessment, and performance reporting to support data-driven decision-making across IT initiatives.

This position helps connect our network of over 500 Non-Profit agencies with federal procurement opportunities across the United States! Our network of Non-Profit Agencies (NPAs) perform service and product contracts mainly for Federal agencies and help employ over 35,932 people with disabilities nationally.

* Due to the requirements of this position - The candidate must be based near SourceAmerica's National Office in Vienna, VA (greater-Washington, DC metro area). SourceAmerica's employees who live within 30 commuting miles of our offices work in a hybrid setting with 2-3 days in office and the balance as remote work.

What You Will Do ...

As an IT Program Analyst, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview.

  • This position analyzes data from our various IT project workstreams such as tracking timelines, keeping the project in scope and budget, our throughput, project impact, etc. The data helps us make decisions around resources, budget decisions, and project capacity. This position collaborates with all our different teams in IT, our project partners within the business partners, and within the office of the IT Chief of Staff.
  • This position is a hands-on part of maintaining alignment between IT programs and business, contract, and regulatory priorities. These initiatives can range from anything like infrastructure changes that with IT security, to SharePoint projects, to enhancements coming from our business units such as recent updates to D365 and an HRIS implementation (as examples). This position helps with project alignment by reviewing the roadmap of when projects start, assist in prioritizing the order of the timelines, and communicating these decisions to executive or the individual business units. This position works hand in hand with IT leadership and our business leaders to ensure we are working on the right things at the right time.
  • In this position, you'll assist in the analysis and reporting of portfolio-level initiatives to support alignment with product roadmaps and business strategy. Some examples of product road maps would include delivering important program reporting to our nonprofit agency network and the U.S. AbilityOne Commission. An upcoming project includes moving to cloud platforms for these essential reports.
  • Other coordination and collaboration requirements include daily interaction with the IT Financial/Contract Analyst in the Office of the CIO to ensure alignment on IT financial performance and budgeting across the organization, and working closely with Product Management, Business Owners, and Agile teams to ensure transparency in program execution.
  • This position is essential in helping continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies, implementing risk mitigation plans, dependencies, and escalations across IT programs.
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise.

What You Must Bring ...

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 years of experience in program/project analysis, IT governance, or portfolio management.

Experience with Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and Lean Portfolio Management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Experience working with software development lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps.

Experience with financial tracking and resource planning in an IT environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across IT and business teams.

Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.

7+ years of relevant work experience in program/project analysis, IT governance, or portfolio management.

SAFe certified.

Experience with compliance documentation for network/system interconnections.

We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.

Work Environment

Our organization offers both a hybrid and remote work environment where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek.
