Start Time: 6:45am-7:15pm, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Your Role With Us:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking foods that are not only delicious but also aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a disciplined approach to clean as you go and adherence to safe food handling practices.

  • Prepare and cook foods that taste great and are aesthetically pleasing.
  • Follow recipes and portions accurately for optimal cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain a clean and uncluttered workstation by cleaning as you go.
  • Follow established food safety guidelines.
  • Assist others in Nutrition Services as time permits.
  • Demonstrate strong production skills (fast, efficient, accurate, and clean).

Background/Expertise:

  • High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of cook experience in either a restaurant, commercial food service operation, or hospital kitchen required Or a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a cook in either a restaurant, commercial food service operation or hospital kitchen in lieu of education required.
  • Current Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certification required within 30 days of hire.
