Responsibilities
Lead and manages project teams, products, and processes across the lifecycle of the project
- Evaluates, determines, and documents specific requirements related to projects and translates those requirements into resource and deliverable based roadmap with target release dates for accomplishment.
- Develop and manage a project risk register for each project.
- Provides routine reporting of project milestones, risks, impediments, and escalation requirements.
- Present to leadership, stakeholders and/or governance groups, the vision and strategy of the project, the roadmap of planned deliveries, and capabilities to be delivered in each release.
- Conduct cross-organizational coordination as required in support of project delivery.
- Expedite and coordinate services to assist in managing complex enterprise projects.
- Manage assigned tasks to completion within the schedule, budget, and scope of the project.
Qualifications
- Experience managing critical infrastructure and/or data center projects (required).
- Understanding of data center infrastructure equipment: Electrical Distribution, Backup Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Switchgear, Air Hander Units (AHU), Chillers, Pumps, ect (required)
- Experience in energy/utilities/construction is not required but a plus.
- Skilled in Waterfall method project delivery.
- Experience in Project Management: Proficiency in leading projects from inception to completion, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office products: MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Service Now, SharePoint and Power Point.
- Experience managing stakeholders.
- Ability to estimate workload, schedule tasks, and assign resources to project tasks.
- Experience working on projects involving technical designs, management of vendors, infrastructure, and system monitoring applications.
- Ability to operate in high-stress environments.
- Innate/documented ability to translate project activities into executive-level reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Previous experience with large scale deployment and migration of technology services across a large enterprise.
- Proficient in the use of various project management tracking tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences across multiple levels of the organization to include managing through cross-functional organizations.
- Experience with leading, coordinating, and facilitating meetings to review project status with core project team members, key stakeholders, and executive team members.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related technical discipline and 10+ years' work experience
- Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (18 years total)
Clearance:
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation
