• Salary range - $110,000 to $130,000
• Clearance - Must have a DOD Top Secret Clearance
• Location - Albuquerque NM

SUMMARY:

The assigned Physicist for this DAWSON effort will assist the M&S Kirkland (modeling and simulation support), for operations in our Asset Management Program and will be a valued member of the team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring various tasks within the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) Experimental Campaign Division are appropriately monitored, supervised and analyzed. Primary work location will be On-Site and at the HQ AFOTEC facility. This individual will report directly to the Senior Program Manager and/or Deputy Program Manager, depending on subject matter or issue/topic at hand.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Occasional Travel to test ranges and conferences both CONUS and OCONUS will be required.
• Must perform Test Planning and Analysis of Experimental Programs within the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC).
• Will interface/interact/correspond/communicate regularly with the AFOTEC HQ and DoD Test Ranges personnel to execute early developmental programs to support.
• Will be determining potential for future military utility for a variety of test and evaluation programs.
• Must perform scheduling of resources to execute test requirements.
• Answer non-routine correspondence and assemble confidential and sensitive information for follow-on actions within the related programs.
• Prepare general correspondence, proofread for spelling, grammar, and layout; responsible for accuracy and clarifying final copies.
• Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and requests for information (RFIs)
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, as required, for tracking various program and project details.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a DOD Top Secret (TS) Clearance or even TS with SCI.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in physics or related studies.
• Related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Must be proficient with various PC software packages such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, etc., to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents.
• Work is highly proprietary in nature and an ability to handle information with discretion is critical.
• Must work well under pressure, be an independent thinker, and have track record of working in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
• Must be capable of routinely collaborating with leadership and colleagues, alike, at multiple distant locations using telephone, email, virtual teleconference tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
• Must be highly attentive to professional details including style, grammar, and document formatting.
• Must be able to multi-task and respond quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Must communicate at a high-level with solid oral and writing skills with the ability to convey thoughts clearly, articulately and in such a way that the audience understands intent and view..
