Bio-Rad is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a proven background in the life sciences industry to support our mission of innovation and continuous improvement. This role is essential to driving the successful development and launch of specialized life science products. As a key member of the Life Science Group PMO, you will lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle-from concept through commercialization-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

The ideal candidate must bring direct experience in the life sciences sector, with a strong understanding of regulated product development environments. You will be responsible for project planning, risk mitigation, and fostering collaboration across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to deliver high-impact solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product development projects within established timelines and budgets

  • Develop and manage project plans aligned with business objectives

  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues and risks

  • Use strong interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and alignment across departments

What You Bring:



  • Education: B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a science discipline.
  • Life Science background is a must.
  • Work Experience: 8+ years Life Science experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proactive leader with active management style and sense of accountability.
  • Strong balance between science and business acumen with deep desire to deliver business value to the organization.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in leading project teams through obstacles and/or finding best path forward.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international) 5-10% of the time.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills, analytical/problem solving skills, negotiation skills, cross-functional team leadership skills and goal setting skills.
  • Effective presentation and meeting skills with a wide variety of external/internal colleagues and collaborators.
  • Proficient in standard project management tools (e.g., work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, critical path analysis).

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $133,900 to $184,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
