No Brag, Just Fact! GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Director, Senior Corporate Counsel will be a member of the regulatory team within the Justice League of DaVita (JLD). The individual will provide legal guidance and support to the Company on regulatory and compliance related matters as they arise with respect to DaVita Labs, a business unit of DaVita, Inc., that provides clinical laboratory services and support to DaVita, Inc. This position requires expertise in the Federal healthcare regulatory laws, including the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and their implementing regulations, as well as experience reviewing state health care regulations. Strong candidates will have healthcare payor contracting and negotiation experience and strong knowledge base in medical payor regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as legal regulatory counsel and strategic partner to DaVita Labs, with a primary emphasis on healthcare laws and regulations, as well as support for payor relations and contracting. In partnership with other DaVita attorneys and compliance teammates, assist business clients in identifying and resolving legal/regulatory matters related to business initiatives. Advise on compliance with federal and state health care industry laws and regulations. Support all aspects of DaVita Labs business related to their service offerings. Develop working relationships with business clients, as well as legal and compliance partners. *This role must be located in Deland, Florida at the DaVita Lab facility.* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
