A reasonable estimate for this position is $68,247 - $74,577 based on a full-time 100% appointment. In particular, we are seeking a candidate who can teach one upper-division course in fall 2025 (Survey of traditional Chinese literature) and one upper-division course in spring 2026 Modern Chinese literature). Salary is commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience and a reasonable estimate for this position is $68,247 - $74,577 based on a full-time 100% appointment. This appointment will be part-time. The appointment is renewable contingent on department teaching needs and demonstration of excellence in teaching. Shared office space, access to the campus library, copier, and computer facilities will be provided. Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in hand in Chinese literature or related field and native or near-native proficiency in Chinese and English.
