What this job involves:

We are hiring a Regional Facilities Director to lead our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team in the South East region [Source: JLL Job Description Template.docx]. This position oversees a team of 30+ facilities management professionals across 3 million rentable square feet (RSF) of facilities at 7 critical sites including Dallas, Houston, Austin, Denver, Boulder, Nashville, Atlanta, Charleston and Miami, with an additional 1 million RSF planned for development within 18 months. You will manage an annual operating expense (OPEX) budget of approximately $30 million USD while driving operational excellence, ensuring business continuity for our technology services client, and transforming operational challenges into effective business solutions. This role is critical in our rapidly evolving work environment and requires someone who can consistently meet or exceed client service expectations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Manage strategic relationships with multiple stakeholder groups including internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure effective teamwork and performance management

* Serve as primary contact for service delivery and escalation point, maintaining contractual obligations and developing performance metrics for building health reporting

* Oversee financial management including OpEx and CapEx opportunities, property budgets, forecasts, and cross-selling service recommendations

* Ensure contract compliance and service delivery alignment with key performance indicators and service level agreements

* Manage all service providers and contractors while implementing quality assurance mechanisms to maintain portfolio service delivery health

* Conduct routine facility inspections across multiple locations to identify issues and develop performance measurement strategies

* Travel at least once monthly across North America and Latin America to maintain regional operations and client relationships

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum 7+ years experience in a similar facilities management leadership role

* Familiarity with construction, architecture, and various building systems including HVAC and electrical systems

* Experience managing Hard/Engineering Services in lab environments with technical expertise in Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Critical Systems maintenance

* Experience managing Soft/Front of House services with emphasis on Janitorial and Food Services

* Demonstrated experience managing facilities across multiple locations with strong leadership and interpersonal skills

* Proven ability to handle client sensitivities, knowing when to escalate with urgency or de-escalate risks

* Experience in balancing client interests with firm interests and translating client needs into actionable solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong negotiation skills and working experience managing team performance management processes

* Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities with capacity to connect technical matters with monetary and business impacts

* Project management and organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines

* Demonstrated client relationship skills with strong presentation abilities and verbal/written communication skills

* Flexibility to adapt and effectively deal with rapidly changing, stressful situations

* Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives while working independently and as a team player

* Strong people management and team development skills
