Your Assignment at a Glance The Engineer, Quality Systems - Contractor, under the leadership of the Sr., Manager, Quality and Compliance, will be responsible for the development and implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) for the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) that aligns with ISO standards, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement. The QSE will design, develop, implement, maintain, and improve the company's management systems, and will be responsible for coordinating and guiding department leadership to effectively maintain the control of documents. As a Engr., Qual. Systems - Contractor you will:
- Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) that aligns to ISO standards.
- Lead the ISO certification process, including gap analysis, documentation, training, and audit preparation.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ISO standards into all business operations.
- Create and update quality documentation, policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Train and support employees on quality management processes and ISO requirements.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the QMS and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in ISO standards and ensure the QMS remains compliant.
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) management.
- Develop and implement a Supplier Quality Management System
- Evaluation of new methodologies and quality tools.
- Ensure that the company's management system is maintained.
- Implementation of good practices in the QMS.
- Follow quality standards and guidelines and safety policies.
- Other duties as required by management.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Req or
- 5-7 years Equivalent combination of education, and related work experience required.
- 5-7 years Manufacturing or industry sector preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, and other relevant ISO standards.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing QMS from scratch.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer Certification Preferred or
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM)-ASQ Certification Preferred.

Travel Requirements 20% Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
