We are seeking a full time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite.
Flexible Work Schedule Options:
Option 1: Four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday as a full day off.
Option 2: Standard 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a half-day on Wednesday (7:30 AM - 12:00 PM), and the afternoon off.
After a successful 90-day onboarding period, you may transition to four 10-hour shifts with Wednesday as your designated day off.
The Medical Assistant will be working directly with a brand-new Advanced Practice Provider (APP), so they will be learning and growing together! This provider is currently ramping up, with a goal of seeing 16 patients a day. Currently, the provider sees 8 patients a day.
Our APP sees a great mix of same-day sick visits as well as some scheduled annuals. North St is on the smaller side, creating a cozy environment where we enjoy in-house training, staff celebrations, and employee growth and learning.
Most days we average between 80-100 patients per day for the entire clinic, 5 MD/5 APP.
Responsibilities include:
-Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
-Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, procedures, and -treatments as directed)
-Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to coordination of care (general patient guidance, test results, prescription refills, etc.)
-Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
-Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs

Required:
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
Preferred:
  • Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1-year professional experience
  • National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
