Role Summary: We are seeking an AI Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, India to provide support for our applications and platform, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality user experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving skills, a strong understanding of AI technologies, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. The engineer will work closely with development teams, clients, and end-users to resolve issues, handle incidents, and ensure the continuous performance of our application and platform. Also, this role involves providing production support for a large-scale global financial software product, including some shift hours and weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities/What you will be doing:

  • Provide technical support for AI-based applications, identifying and resolving issues reported by users.

  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on users.

  • Monitor the performance of AI applications and address potential areas of concern before they escalate.

  • Ability to and assist in enhancing the performance, scalability, and usability of AI applications.

  • Respond to user inquiries related to the application's AI features, providing guidance, documentation, and solutions.

  • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring problems and provide insights to the development team for future improvements.

  • Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other support documentation for customers.

  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the AI Insight application.

  • Stay up to date with the latest AI technologies, trends, and standard methodologies.

  • Handle client critical issues and manage incidents to resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Provides Level 2 24x7 technical and production support, including out-of-hours and on-call support.

Required Skills and Qualifications (what you will bring):

  • 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Cloud Computing technologies (AWS or Azure) and SRE practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in technical support or application support, preferably in AI-based applications.

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, ML OPS, frameworks, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

  • Excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or similar.

  • Solid understanding of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

  • Ability to manage multiple support cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Experience with Observability practices with logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision applications.

  • Experience in solving distributed systems and cloud-based application problems.

  • Experience in Financial or Investment Banking environments is preferred.

  • Experience working with machine learning models and deploying AI solutions is a plus.

  • Certification in cloud platforms or relevant AI technologies is a plus.

  • Hands on Experience with one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $2,800,200 - $5,200,400. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
