About the Senior Accountant:

The Senior Accountant is a highly motivated self-starter, responsible for supporting the Company's Corporate close through general ledger and account reconciliation assistance. In addition, this role will support some footnote compilation of SEC filing (10-Q/10-K) disclosures associated with areas of account review responsibility, as well as aid in areas supporting consolidation efforts and other internal reporting needs. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Corporate close team and also contribute to the identification of opportunities to improve and standardize process/internal controls, and in particular be a key resource to help facilitate optimizing ERP opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large national accounting firm for a few years, and experience having previously worked at a public or large private company as a senior accountant in the technology or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Key player in the Corporate month-end close process, through account reconciliation, general ledger, and consolidation support.
  • Contribute to on a monthly and quarterly basis the completion of judgmental accounting/reconciliation areas as part of the close.
  • Assist with the company's internal financial reporting needs including variance analysis, with some external reporting SEC footnote disclosure support.
  • Work with Big 4 audit team to help support efforts associated with audit, quarterly reviews and SOX testing efforts.
  • Develop into a key resource in cross-functional ERP knowledge to support the training of other accounting team members, and to enhance existing desktop procedures as part of the monthly close process.
  • In the future support implementation of a global monthly financial close tool (e.g., Blackline, Floqast, Workiva)
  • Identification of opportunities to improve and standardize processes/internal controls across the organization to improve efficiencies and contribute to potential cost reductions.
  • Perform other ad hoc projects as assigned.


Preferred Qualification/Skills:



  • Education:


    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting


  • Experience:


    • Minimum 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
    • Mix of prior public company or large private company experience, ideally in the Corporate team responsible for global consolidation efforts.
    • Experienced in monthly financial closings and variance analysis.
    • Prior experience in a public company with international consolidation requirements.
    • Account reconciliation experience associated with judgmental areas.
    • Experience in the manufacturing or technology sector preferred.
    • Prior exposure to supporting footnote disclosures in SEC Reporting
    • Involvement with a Company audited by a Big 4 or National accounting firm.


  • Skills & Competencies:


    • Team player with proven collaboration abilities
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP), Oracle most preferred.
    • Proficient in Excel.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict monthly close reporting requirements.
    • Holds self-accountable to achieving individual and team goals.
    • Familiarity with stock-based compensation and related tools is a plus, but not a requirement.
