Trinity Heads, Inc. is searching for a Senior Electrical Technician (2nd shift) in our Navasota, Texas Facility. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to determine causes of operating problems in areas including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Performs complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Reads blueprints and schematics - pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical.
- Troubleshoots electrical problems, performs preventative maintenance and testing on electrical wiring and components.
- Performs preventive maintenance and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
- Performs troubleshooting of 3 phase equipment up to 600v
- Makes electronic, mechanical, or electrical repairs on all computer controlled equipment.
- Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc.
- May test new equipment, trouble shoot operation, make minor adjustments to equipment.
- Maintains and completes all required records.
- Follows all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired knowledge and experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2-4 years of related experience
- Ability to ready equipment drawing, and electrical & hydraulics schematics
- May require working above ground (15 ft. or more)
- Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects, comfortable with heights.
- May require working in narrow or confined workspaces for extended periods of time.
