Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's (LBNL) Accelerator Technology & Applied Physics (ATAP) Division has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Advanced Light Source (ALS) Accelerator Physics Program (ALS AP), and will be matrixed to both the Advanced Light Source (ALS) and ALS-U Divisions. In this role, you will join the ALS-U Beam Diagnostics team to support the fabrication, testing, and commissioning of various beam diagnostics devices. These include bunch charge monitors, feedback systems, beam position monitors, beam profile monitors, diagnostics beamlines, and more. With the design phase completed, the project is now progressing into procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing, and commissioning stages. You will contribute to all phases of this effort, working closely with the diagnostics team and collaborating across multiple groups. What You Will Do:
