Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in IT support, systems administration, and enterprise technologies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for technology, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to day-to-day IT operations and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

* Assist with the setup and deployment of laptops, desktops, and other devices.

* Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.

* Help maintain inventory of IT assets and perform hardware audits as needed.

* Document technical procedures and create user-friendly guides for end-users.

* Assist in troubleshooting issues related to Windows and Linux systems.

* Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and security assessments.

* Support end-users onsite and remotely under supervision of IT staff.

Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems; familiarity with Linux is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common IT tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as part of equipment deployment/setup.


Preferred (but not required):



  • Previous help desk or technical support experience.
  • Exposure to Active Directory, networking concepts, or IT ticketing systems.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
