West Valley Hospital - Radiologic Technologist

Your Role With Us:

The Radiologic Technologist at West Valley Hospital is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires proficient operation of imaging equipment, including proper exposure techniques, adherence to ALARA principles, and accurate documentation. The technologist collaborates with healthcare teams to tailor imaging procedures based on individual patient conditions and maintains thorough knowledge of hospital systems including EPIC, Radiant, and PACS. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and patient-centered care.

Background/Expertise:

• Must have graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Must have ARRT certification in radiography within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
• Must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiography.
• Must be capable of handling all imaging equipment and must have good interpersonal communication skills.
