Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and optimizing software usage to reduce costs. This position will include financial analysis of the department's expenses to ensure proper recording. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and desire to work in business administration closely aligned with IT and technical operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing, ordering, inventorying and cataloging software assets across the Americas regional organization maintaining accurate records and documentation Collaborate with various teams to gather software usage data and analyze utilization patterns, assess software needs and provide software-related administrative support. Assist in identifying opportunities for cost optimization and license optimization. Participate in software license compliance audits and assist in remediation efforts as needed. Assist in the communication of software asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to stakeholders. Process software and software renewal requests, including cross-billing requests to related legal entities Evaluate costs associated with IT projects, software, hardware, infrastructure and services. Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Information Technology Administration Sub-Region Head

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
  • Familiarity with software licensing models and agreements is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Service Now Software Asset Management is a plus.
  • Experience in working with automotive manufacturing is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement, software purchasing or a similar role

Job level is determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Will not supervise associates.

  • Car needed.
  • U.S. Citizen or documentation of eligibility to work in the United States.
