Responsibilities Key Accountabilities: * Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical support. * Analyze blueprints and engineering models to support NC programming. * Perform a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis of NC programs to ensure validation and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements and specifications as needed. * Develop optimized programs to improve efficiency and run time, utilizing new cutter technology and techniques. * Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data and documentation that directs the operations for numerically controlled machines. * Ability to collaborate in a team environment. * Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams. * Coordinate and communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts. * Optimizes processes and addresses producibility issues as well as production & post-production problems. * May require understanding of machine kinematics, G-code programming, multiple machine controllers, CATIA functionality, and development of CATIA scripting and VB macros. * Program CMMs, portable inspection devices and provide verification of NC programs using software and apps. * May be required to troubleshoot, test or develop machine code and post processor language. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with multiple material types. * Parts Design/ Wireframe experience * Experience with frequent interaction with internal personnel in the manufacturing environment and occasionally with inter-organizational personnel and external customers. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models. * Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially with Excel * Strong knowledge of SAP * Experience with CATIA / ENOVIA * Vericut proficient * Ability to take a project from start to finish * Willingness to work cross-functionally * Experience with Post Processor Development * Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or other related course of study a plus but not required.
