Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Hub Operator/Railcar Offloading Technician Location: Pasco, WA Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Hub Operator/Railcar Offloading Technician to join our team! The Hub Operator/Railcar Offloading Technician will be responsible for safe and efficient operations of the CO2 plant. Offloader main responsibility will be the safe unloading of CO2 from incoming railcars into our carbon dioxide storage. Job duties also include the inspection, repair, and maintenance of the tank storage equipment at the plant. These duties involve inspecting the condition of storage tanks and their components such as gauges, seals, and pressure, diagnosing the state of the tanks to determine if repairs are needed, and performing necessary repairs or replacements using hand and power tools. What we offer you! * Competitive compensation * Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision and more) * 401(k) retirement savings plan * Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) * Employee discount programs * Career growth opportunities Hourly Rate- $22.91 to $33.61 per hour (commensurate with industry experience) What you will be doing: (1st shift) * Able to perform daily job tasks in outdoor environments under all weather conditions. * Capable of climbing ladders on railcars up to a height of 10-12 feet while using personal protective equipment, such as a harness. * Possesses or can develop problem-solving skills in mechanical, instrumentation, and production processes. * Strong focus on distribution operations, including railcar loading and unloading, as well as trailer loading and unloading. * Demonstrates strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities. * Responsible for starting up, shutting down, monitoring, and operating production processes. * Conduct routine inspections on various types of process equipment, including compressors, pumps, analyzers, control systems, and process control valves. * Collaborates with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and repair defective equipment, electrical components, and production processes. * Utilizes technical information such as manuals, drawings, and schematics for the operation and maintenance of equipment. * Performs and documents plant safety, quality, and compliance activities. * Maintains inventory levels for materials and services to support assigned job tasks. * Executes testing requirements in compliance with regulatory standards and Linde GMP policies. * Upholds a positive attitude and shows respect for others in a team environment. * Adapts to changes in work priorities as needed. * Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, including through notes, texts, and emails. * Possesses computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft applications. * Manages time efficiently while keeping work tasks organized and in accordance with Linde safety procedures. * Willing to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands, including weekends, holidays, and irregular hours. - Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision. * Maintains a clean work environment by keeping the area organized and tidy. * Performs other duties as assigned, such as assisting with dry ice production when needed. Qualifications
