The Team

Global Security works hard to safeguard foundation personnel, information, facilities, assets, and reputation. As part of the newly expanded Facilities, Events, Travel and Security Team (FETS), we are comprised of about thirty employees as well as the contingent employees in Reception, the Guard Force, and the Global Security Operations Center. Security spans across all affiliates and regional offices and organizationally reports into Business Operations.

This role resides within the Security Operations (Sec Ops) team, within Global Security and reports to the Senior Manager, Security Operations. Your Role

The Security Program Manager (PM) leads and facilitates cross-team planning, collaboration, and issue resolution. They will support prioritization, tracking of in-flight work and progress towards goals, learning and reflection on team initiatives. The PM will support budget oversight and planning, financial analysis and reporting, and process management for the annual planning. Additionally, the PM will be responsible for facilitating two security programs with vendor support - business continuity and security reception. The position will report to the Senior Manager for Seattle Security Operations and will support the Global Security team.

What You'll Do
  • Support for cross-cutting, new initiatives across Global Security team by working collaboratively with peers to design and lead qualitative and quantitative analyses and elevate key insights to guide team. Coordinate with leadership to track and prioritize team initiatives.
  • Work with leadership to provide budget oversight and planning, financial analysis and reports. Drive annual budget planning process, partnering with peers to align timing, approach and communication. Ensure data quality for investments and invoices and provide support for the team's financial decision making.
  • Responsible for driving a business continuity program by working cross functionally across the business to build, implement, test and continually improve the foundation's ability to effectively respond to and recover from major events affecting people, places and operations.
  • Facilitate the global security reception program in close collaboration with regional security managers, to include maintenance of security procedures, delivery of training materials to vendors and coordination of annual in-person training.
  • Handle logistics for Global Security led training at foundation and affiliate offices to include running registrations, space reservations and logistics.
  • Responsible for complete overview and driving security initiatives for business enablement for technology projects, as assigned. This includes tracking, monitoring and influencing priority of significant security objectives, goals and plans from all security sub-departments.
Your Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Security Management, Business, Disaster Recovery, Public Admin, International Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security roles and/or crisis management/business continuity roles.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint (ability to create sites) and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to convert sophisticated datasets into clear, insightful, and visually appealing representations with tools like Power BI.
  • Experience in strategic planning, program development, prioritization, budget management, and risk assessment.
  • Proven success in influencing and aligning partners with varied perspectives and without direct reporting lines.
  • Experience leading ground-breaking projects that span multiple functions within an organization, from strategic planning through to implementation.
  • Adept at developing and delivering senior leadership-level presentations and communications.
  • Practical experience with an understanding of diverse cultural, socio-economic, and political landscapes. Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to navigating cross-cultural environments with compassion and respect.
  • Expertise in program management, continuous improvement, and improving organizational agility.
  • Skilled at assessing the scope and complexity of initiatives and allocating resources optimally, considering timing, capabilities, and strengths.
  • Ability to quickly identify and communicate frameworks for analyzing issues and getting results. A strategic problem solver with a track record of aligning initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.

The salary range for this role is $140,200 to $210,200 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $152,800 to $229,200 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hires salaries are typically between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
