Position Description
Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

The individual in this role will be responsible for the operational oversight of three clinical sites: Midland, Odessa, and MFM Midland. This includes the direct supervision of Patient Services Staff (PSS) and ensuring that daily clinical operations are executed efficiently and in alignment with organizational standards.

This position collaborates closely with the Grants Manager to support reporting requirements and continuous quality improvement initiatives. The role requires advanced proficiency in organizational management, strategic planning, and interpersonal communication, as well as a comprehensive understanding of clinical workflows and interdepartmental functions.

The position also involves regular interaction with departmental leadership, requiring a high level of professionalism and coordination.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Provide leadership and direct supervision to 8-15 staff members within the assigned clinical departments.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of clinical sites to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency of patient services.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Monitor staff performance through regular evaluations, coaching, and the administration of performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the Grants Manager to support data collection, reporting, and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Manage the ongoing training and development of PSS staff in systems such as:
    • CPM Oracle
    • Availity
    • One Source
    • CXOne telephone system


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
