The Director Advisory Solutions & Client Engagement will serve as a strategic, client-first leader to serve within our Advisory Service business. This role is responsible for driving the growth, retention, and success of institutional clients and consultants by delivering tailored advice solutions and best-in-class experience. This individual will play a critical role in aligning the organization on client advice strategies by partnering cross-functionally-especially with sales, product, marketing, relationship management and investment teams-to deliver differentiated outcomes for clients.

What you will do:

Client Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Partner directly with plan sponsors to articulate the value proposition of managed accounts, aligned to their goals and participant needs
  • Develop consultative strategies to support adoption of managed accounts across new and existing clients
  • Translate complex data and reporting into clear, actionable insights for plan sponsors to support decision-making and engagement strategies

Sales Partnership & Business Growth

  • Function as a strategic partner to the sales organization to drive institutional growth
  • Support client acquisition and retention through proposal development, finals presentations, and consultative engagements when needed

Client Experience & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure a seamless and high-touch client experience from onboarding through ongoing service
  • Lead client reviews, portfolio updates, and strategic conversations to demonstrate value

Strategic Insights & Innovation

  • Provide insights into client trends, client and consultant feedback, and market developments to inform business strategy
  • Function as the voice of the institutional client within cross-functional forums regarding advisory services

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure individual and collective success

What you will bring:

  • 8-12+ years of experience in institutional asset management, managed accounts, or wealth platform strategy
  • Deep understanding of managed account structures (e.g., SMA, UMA, model delivery) and the institutional/consultant landscape
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to derive meaningful insights from participant data and plan metrics
  • Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams and drive consensus and outcomes
  • Series 65 registration required within corporate-established timelines. FINRA fingerprinting required

  • Experience working with institutional clients or plan sponsors is highly preferred
  • Strategic thinker with a consultative mindset and client-first orientation
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent designation preferred

Base Salary Range

$98,900.00 - $139,700.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
