We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Vice President (AVP) to join our Health Plan Member Experience team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients succeed. As an AVP, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our footprint within current clients, building relationships with new clients, and driving revenue growth through the sale of our consulting and analytics services.

Join us as we launch Press Ganey's Stars Center of Excellence-a new initiative that combines the strengths of Hyperlift's advanced analytics with Press Ganey's member experience data, expertise, and AI-powered tools.

The AVP can be based in any state within the contiguous United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with all of the Health Plan AVP's and serve as an overlay and SME for our software/consulting capabilities.
  • Identify and target potential health plan clients in need of consulting and analytics services to drive efficient STARS improvement with actionable insights.
  • Identify sales opportunities and engage with the sales team to partner on securing growth.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to generate net new business.
  • Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients to showcase our solutions.
  • Manage the sales pipelineensuring targets are met.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Responsible for meeting regularly with the C-Suite (including ongoing Executive Briefings) to align with the strategy and goals of the client organization.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of client and developrecommendations based on clients' business needs and usage patterns.
  • Work cross functionally across Press Ganey to fulfill on client value proposition and address client needs/concerns. This includes facilitating on-demand and proactive guidance for the client.
  • Provide market insights and strategic advice.
  • Understand client Partnership Dashboard (including Voice of Client and internal client health assessment) and implement plans to address.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales focused on consulting and analytics services with a successful track record of achieving growth targets.
  • Understands the STARS program used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to grade Medicare Advantage Plans based on a five-star quality rating scale.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Solid working knowledge of strategic planning, execution of strategy, business development and sales.
  • Bachelor's degree

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $101,000 - $160,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
