Job Duties/Scope Of Work


The Soil &Ground Water (S&GO) Engineering Manager oversees all engineering efforts required to support the Soil and Ground Water Project. The roles and responsibilities are:

*Oversees the development of engineering & other technical and administrative procedures
*Provides technical support to project facility maintenance program and acts as vendor technical liaison.
*Manages project/facility design baseline.
*Ensures technical procedures & other work-related documents are prepared and used to provide appropriate work to ensure work is performed safely, compliantly, & efficiently.
*Ensures engineered systems incorporate appropriate controls & systems for safe and compliant operation.
*Provides timely day-to-day technical support to operations and maintenance activities through assigned engineers.
*Manages design activities.
*Ensures personnel are trained commensurate with their responsibilities.
*Implements safety expectations and environmental objectives.
*Evaluates project/facility & equipment performance, troubleshoots operational anomalies, & assesses plant conditions & events.
*Participates in and implements the CPCCo reporting system (iCAS).
*Supports the employee safety councils.
*Encourages worker feedback through routine staff meetings, post-job reviews, lessons learned, etc.
*Provides technical support to project scientists


Job Duties/Scope Of Work


* Manager Grade 22 - Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus 12 years of relevant experience and at least 4 years of required relevant experience must be nuclear experience.

* Manager Grade 23 - Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus 14 years of relevant experience and at least 4 years of required relevant experience must be nuclear experience.

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.


Desired Qualifications


* Five (5) years of experience in the nuclear industry.
* Two (2) years of experience in a multi-discipline engineering management capacity.
* Working knowledge of the codes, principles, practices and techniques in the field of nuclear facility engineering, including relevant DOE orders and directives.
* Professional Engineering (PE) License.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High level of computer literacy.


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

* Grade 22: $159,363 - $209,688.

* Grade 23: $183,300 - $241,300.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
