Markon is seeking a Senior-level Windows Systems Administrator to support our Intelligence Customer.

Sustainment of an Oracle Primavera Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application.

• Maintaining the operational integrity of the Oracle Primavera application.

• Maintaining the Windows and Database environments in AWS which host the COTS Primavera Project and Portfolio Management software suite.

• Manage and configure cloud resources effectively (AWS).
• Monitoring the WebLogic and Tomcat servers, deploying applications, patching systems as well as configuring and maintaining server certificates.
• Application Maintenance: Regularly update and patch the Oracle Primavera application to ensure it is secure and running the latest features.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the application's performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Quickly respond to and resolve any issues that arise within the application, minimizing downtime and disruption to users.
• User Support: Provide technical support to users of the Oracle Primavera application, assisting with any queries or problems they may encounter.
• System Integration: Ensure that the Oracle Primavera application is seamlessly integrated with other systems and services, including those hosted on AWS.
• Ensuring ATO compliance: Maintain security controls, conduct audits, implement mitigation strategy and managing risks.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the system's configuration, customizations, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.

Required:

• Active TS/SCI FSP required
• Proactive mentality to ensure the application is running efficiently, securely, and is well-integrated with other systems and services.
• Experience writing in Microsoft PowerShell.
• Proficiency in managing and sustaining Oracle Primavera or similar applications, with a deep understanding of its architecture and components. The candidate must have a strong background in managing and maintaining applications to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
• Experience in managing databases and COTS applications. This includes the ability to write complex queries, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity.
• Proficiency in SQL is required for database management tasks, including query writing, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Java programming, as the application is often required for customization, troubleshooting, and enhancing the functionality of the Oracle Primavera application.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure, ideally supporting Oracle Primavera applications.
