Job Summary

The Marketing Area in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking non-tenure track faculty candidates at the rank of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer for our MBA and Executive-level graduate programs, starting preferably in August 2025, while January 2026 will also be considered. We welcome candidates from academia, business, and/or government sectors. We are targeting applicants with demonstrated expertise in practice and/or teaching in Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing, Industrial/B2B Marketing, or related marketing topics; however, other applicants will be considered.

The primary duties will be to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop innovative curricula for new and existing Scheller programs, and provide service to the College, the Institute, and the marketing profession. Candidates should expect to teach six courses per year. All teaching assignments will be determined by the Area Coordinator of Marketing. The marketing group has a strong research focus on the intersection of marketing and technology. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to effectively interact with the faculty.

This position vacancy is an open rank announcement. Lecturer

  • Graduate degree in Marketing, Management, or Business related field

Senior Lecturer

  • Graduate degree in Marketing, Management, or Business related field
  • At least six (6) years full-time relevant experience
