Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position $86,500 - 110,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. About the Role:

The AFSOC (Air Force Special Operations Command) Special Tactics Squadron (STS) MPSE will be supporting service-provided ground operator tactical computing systems and software in addition to supporting USSOCOM, TACLAN, SOMPE, provided systems/capabilities.

Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:



  • Supports classified and unclassified Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) devices, and associated cables for use by Special Tactics (ST) personnel.
  • Updates and maintains SOMPE approved TAK Suite builds.
  • Loads, tests and distributes critical mission data, as required.
  • Upon SOMPE COR approval, provides on-site training when and where required/requested. Some training and test sites may require AFSOC Ground Tactical Support Contractors to wear appropriate tactical personal protective equipment (PPE) (multicam protective combat uniform (PCU), footwear, eye protection, etc.), in such cases the required equipment will be Government provided.
  • Support Level will be Tier 1/Help Desk.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


Experience:



  • Will require detailed knowledge of AFSOC Special Tactics ground operation and tactics.
  • Will require a minimum of five (5) years, within the last eight (8) years, operational experience with/or supporting AFSOC.
  • Will have a working knowledge in the following areas/programs:

    • Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK)
    • Windows Tactical Assault Kit (WINTAK)
    • TAK Server and FCD-W mobile device management (MDM) familiarization




Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience desired.


Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:



  • A+ CE, CCNA - Security, Network+, or SSCP highly desired.


Other Required Skills & Abilities:



  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.


Security Clearance Requirements:

Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

US Citizenship Requirements:

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
