Job Title: Quality System Coordinator Location: Pascagoula, MS Position Overview: The Quality System Coordinator develops, implements, and maintains the facility's quality system to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. This role involves implementing and supporting strategic quality systems, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective product quality control. The position requires working across administrative, manufacturing, and inspection environments to support quality system enhancements. Qualifications * Experience: At least 2 years of quality system experience in product manufacturing (preferably in a shipyard or similar environment). * Preferred: 5 years of Manufacturing or Shipyard experience. Minimum Skills & Abilities * Strong understanding of quality system concepts. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * Knowledge to inspect three (30 or more of the following areas: welding, machining, painting (coating), piping, mechanical, and testing. * Proven experience in continuous quality improvement implementation. * Effective meeting facilitator and presenter. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute process improvements. * Proficiency in data collection, process measurement, and performance analysis. * Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint). * Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Support and integrate quality system principles across facility operations. * Provide training and mentorship in quality system concepts. * Lead corrective and preventive action processes, including root cause analysis (Preferred) * Track and ensure timely completion of Improvement Actions. * Participate in BOS Quality internal audits and perform site mini audits. * Serve as a project leader or team member in quality improvement initiatives. * Deliver presentations on quality management reviews, process improvements, and project updates. * Support risk assessment processes. * Perform technical writing to update or create quality system documents. * Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental practices. * Work overtime as required and travel to other facilities for benchmarking and collaboration.
