As a Security Officer - Retail Unarmed in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a bustling retail and mall environment, you will be responsible for monitoring designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be key in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. You will conduct routine checks and engage with the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires a valid driver's license as driving may be part of your duties. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving, in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possess a valid Guard Card/License; this is preferred but not mandatory.
• Customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
