Position Objective:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for successfully executing all sales goals,

implementing strategic initiatives for business growth, managing external sales representatives,

and direct sales activities for assigned region.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Primary role to focus on Rockies(AZ, NM, NV, UT, CO, ID, WY, MT and Western Canada) end users and distributors.
  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends.
  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan in support of national objectives.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities and developing new or existing sales distributors and reps.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred;

2. Desired experience in technical industry;

3. Sales channel creation and management experience;

4. Comfortable presenting in a large group setting in person or via video conferencing;

5. Experience with CRM systems, preferably SalesForce;

6. Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization;

7. Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills;

8. Effective problem - solving, quantitative and business analysis skills, as well as

mediation skills;

9. Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others;

10. Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
