Description and Requirements
As a Profit Operations Analyst, you will be a key partner to Geo REL leader in developing and implementing programs and processes to improve Profitability. You will be responsible for working with Geo Bus. Leaders, Finance, Sales, WW BU's and WW Business Managers to identifying opportunities, providing program playbook to enhance profit growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Geo in the business case / account plan for Mega / Top deals. This includes profit modelling and LOB expansion scenario generation to enable profitable decisions. Engage in Quarterly reviews with sales team and 6 monthly reviews with Geo & Commercial executives.
  • Develop playbook to expand Profitable Share of wallet in Mega accounts
  • Create and execute Winning in Transition WW guidance to drive business growth, considering market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs, conducting comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Analyze pricing data to produce insights and price recommendations to guide Geos on best practice on cross/upsell and cost saving opportunities.
  • Understand the Delegation of Authority (DOA) and discuss recommendations on appropriate changes based on analysis of Profit data with Geo leaders.
  • Understand Cost Credits, use them to model profits in quarter and recommend any changes for Profit acceleration. Collaborate to optimize activities that can lead to increased alliance $$, cost credits, etc
  • Devise and implement scorecards to assess Lenovo Geo's win chances, providing a basis for bid/no-bid decisions to Geo REL management.
  • Identify win themes and customer success factors by pooling global Geo knowledge and applying it to future opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of competent costs, trends, FX, and macroeconomic trends in the assigned Geo to avoid REL Market sales teams pricing to margin.
  • Be an integral part of the Geo REL pursuit team on significant RFPs, demonstrating the ability to create profit/pricing scenarios that can be quickly adjusted to support bid modelling.
  • Provide proactive advice to the Geo REL team on margin recovery actions, such as component cost changes, range transition, and MOU and FX adjustments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Geo Profit Program manager to create consistent feedback for the WW Commercial team.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years' experience in Finance, 4P or Business Operations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to translate strategic visions into execution plans
  • Strong business & operational acumen, experience in driving activities towards profitable growth.
  • Ability to work with a remote team
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity and a complex matrixed business
  • Customer orientation, open & effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills. English required.
  • Ability to respond quickly to multiple issues and work under pressure.
We prefer this role to be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC, where we support a hybrid work environment including 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
