Responsible for formulating and applying sophisticated modeling and other advanced analytic methods using a computer to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions; Concentrate on collecting, cleansing and analyzing data, developing decision support software and producing actionable information for decision making Essential Functions
Minimum Education Master's degree in industrial engineering, Math/Statistics or related quantitative discipline or Bachelor's Degree (aforementioned disciplines) with 2 years' experience. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements. Minimum Experience Five (5) years' experience in engineering, statistics, forecasting, or data analysis. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Intermediate programming skills and ability to learn new languages, including but not limited to: JAVA, SQL, SAS. Intermediate knowledge of relational database systems Oracle, DB2 and Terradata. Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) with experience using statistical software and reporting interfaces, data mining tools, machine learning techniques and data visualization. Leadership, analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Job Conditions Hours may vary due to operational need. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in visual studio and C# are preferred, however not required Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $9,208.38/month - $16,575.08/month Additional Details: The desired locations for this position would be Harrison, AR and Memphis, TN. Remote work will be considered based on business need. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus several times per week.
