We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr
Account Coordinator (Internal Title: Sr
Sales Operations Coordinator II)
on our Marketing & Membership Experience team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

This position is responsible for supporting long-term success of the Health System and
Group Partnerships accounts, contributing to year over year account retention. In
this capacity, the role will work with the Director and Account Managers to
support partner engagement via advocacy, physician well-being, spotlight and
recognition efforts, professional development, and other resources across the
AMA enterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account Support

  • Serve as a point of contact, coordinating meetings and calls with current and new partners to share follow up information and prep partners for upcoming recognition opportunities, meetings, and events.
  • Provide updates on benefit fulfillment, new resources, inquiries into overall customer satisfaction, and reminders and invites to participate in added value programs or events.
  • Assist Director and Account Managers to ensure account plans are executed and updated accurately.
  • Research innovative work and topics demonstrated by member partners to spotlight and recognize. Identify and synthesize topics in a way that will engage multiple audience communities.

Program Administration

  • Support account managers to enhance processes for account management and execution of value propositions.
  • Maintain and update account management materials, reports, and activity in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate partner follow up communications and outreach.
  • Take ownership of maintaining and enhancing customer scorecard and other engagement tracking documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and other stakeholder-facing materials

Operations Support

  • Coordinate projects that contribute to the effectiveness of Group Membership Operations that support AMA membership sales and growth.
  • These projects include supporting group membership onboarding, renewal, documenting processes, maintaining spreadsheets/databases, and standardization of materials and processes.
  • Support the annual renewal roster processes; including creating membership rosters; providing project support in a timely manner.

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or healthcare-related field required.

2. 3+ years of sales or account coordination experience.

3. Experience interacting with cross-functional colleagues and external stakeholders required; experience with physician engagement a plus.

4. Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills to convey information and ideas between colleagues, partners, and key stakeholders.

5. Demonstrated proficiency in technology such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office specifically Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.

6. Excellent organization, prioritization, and management skills to handle a variety of multi-faceted projects taking initiative, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced, high volume team environment, required.

7. Polished interpersonal skills to interface and communicate with all levels of staff and build relationships with members and cross-functional teams.

8. Ability to react quickly, calmy and with sound judgment.

9. Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

10. Demonstrated excellent multi-tasking skills, with high-quality standards and strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills.

11. Some travel is required.

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $56,100- $74,460. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
