Job Summary

The Data Insights Manager will manage a team to apply statistical models, analytical techniques, and industry knowledge to develop creative solutions for complex data problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, manage, and optimize dashboards and reports to provide visual insights and track key performance indicators
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and engineers
  • Provide data analytic strategies to improve operational performance
  • Lead design and development of analytical models and reporting
  • Collaborate with business partners/leadership to define analytics goals and objectives
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across analytics projects
  • Advocate for data literacy and a data-driven mindset across the organization
  • Identify, design and implement internal process improvements relevant to data analytics
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership to influence decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create efficient reporting, data transparency, and ensure alignment with data governance standards
  • Protect security of data utilized in warehouse, ensuring team adheres to all required security procedures and protocols
  • Ensure proper documentation of warehouse tables/data elements
  • Stay updated with the latest ETL and data integration technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field
  • Six years of progressive experience in data analytics teams
  • Proficiency in data visualizations, demonstrated experience working with PowerBI & Azure data environments
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills and ability to express complex analyses in simple terms to business leaders

Physical/Sensory Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is:

  • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stand and walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
  • May be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Regular required to use computers, telephone, and other standard office equipment
